]]> Red Eagle Entertainment has announced that they are launching a game studio, known as Red Eagle Games, that will be producing a series of video games to go along with their upcoming WoT movies, as well as an MMORPG set in the Wheel of Time world.

A Wheel of Time feature-film production is planned with Red Eagle Entertainment’s executives Rick Selvage and Larry Mondragon as producers, and now Red Eagle is unveiling plans to bring Jordan’s fantasy universe to life via two distinct lines of interactive entertainment.

It’s also worth noting that there has been a Wheel of Time game made before, back in 1999. It didn’t exactly follow along the books, instead having it’s own storyline set in the Wheel of Time world with a First-Person Shooter style of gameplay. Gamespot’s critics gave it an 8.1 for a rating.
