- The Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince videogame, by Electronic Arts, has been released. The game is available for the major consoles, including the Wii, or as a PC/Mac combo DVD-ROM.

- Matt Lewis On Missing the St. Mungo Scene and More as Neville Longbottom – Apparently, a lot of additional material was shot for the Department of Mysteries scenes, though it wasn’t included in the film. (Such as the room with the brains.) The St. Mungos scenes were not filmed.
- Don’t try looking for leaked pirate copies of the latest Harry Potter film on BitTorrent. WB hasn’t let any slip through their fingers, and any files claiming to be copies of the film are probably malware.
- The sixth Harry Potter movie will be released into theaters on July 15th, 2009.
