Veronica Belmont and Tom Merritt of the Sword & Laser podcast recently interviewed a couple of notable fantasy authors in their latest two episodes. Jim Butcher, author of The Dresden Files and The Codex Alera, and Patrick Rothfuss, known for his Kingkiller Chronicle.
